Premier League scenarios: Battle for top four

The Premier League is one game week away from culminating and the organizers did a great job to find a way to finish the league despite the adversity that knocked the door and halted action for over 3 months.

As expected, the top four race turned out to be a cracking affair and things are down to the final day, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City fighting for two spots. All three of these sides have a decent shot at remaining in the top four, and any of them could go down as well.

Premier League has had some fascinating final day finishes over the years, including Blackburn Rovers’ trumping Manchester United on the final day in 1995, Aguero’s moment of a lifetime in 2012 and not to forget the 2008 finish, where Chelsea dropped points at the Bridge, which eased the way for United to lift their 17th top division crown.

This time around, the hunt is not for a title as Liverpool have stormed out of sight and there was never a competition. Midtable games as always provide very little to the suspense and thrill factor. While the relegation battle, as it is on most occasions, will go down the wire, all eyes will be on how the games will pan out at the Bridge and King Power stadium.

Here are the scenarios for each of these three teams.
