A late equalizer from Lanzini spoils Bale’s return party in the London Derby


Absolutely amazing scenes at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium as Lanzini denies a home win by scoring the late equalizer. Every Premier League football games that we watched this week were full of twists and turns as always but moments like these are just magical when the unexpected things occur. West Ham converted the losing game into a draw result at the end.

Reguilon was included in the starting 11 with Sissoko and Ndombele. Dele Alli still left out of the squad. Spurs provided an amazing scene in the starting minute itself as Son opened the score within seconds of the game converting the assist provided by Kane. Spurs were 1-0 up already as the attacker was in action right from the start.

The excitement level continued as Spurs scored another one within few minutes as Kane netted the 2nd goal for Spurs at the 8th minute itself with an assist provided by Son making the score 2-0. The man couldn’t stop scoring as Kane scored the 3rd goal of the game at the 16th minute with Reguilon helping with the assist. Spurs were 3-0 up with 2 goals in Kane’s name.

The score remained 3-0 at the end of half-time with the scoreline in Tottenham’s favor.

The second half began as Spurs tried to maintained maximum possession within their side. Bale entered the field at the 72nd minute in place of Bergwjin. The fans might have gone crazy seeing this as this was the exact moment that they wanted to see for a long time. Lanzini entered the field in place of Antonio to carry out the attacking role for the West Ham side.

Finally, West Ham earned a breakthrough as Balbuena opened the score for West Ham at the 82nd minute making the score 3-1. Just a few minutes later, Hammers got another lead as Sanchez scored an own goal. In an attempt to clear the ball, Sanchez just placed the ball into his own net. The West Ham scoreline was rising at the last moments with the score 3-2 at the 85th minute.

And the game-changing moment was finally here as Lanzini pulled out a specular shot from a distance that was driven straight into the top right corner. There were amazing scenes all over the place as the West Ham side couldn’t believe it that they changed the whole game in the ending minutes.

At the end of full time, the score was 3-3 as Lanzini had done it for West Ham. It was a totally different reaction from David Moyes as he was also surprised to see the incredible goal.
