England will tour South Africa after the completion of IPL 2020

After hosting West Indies, Pakistan and Australia for an International series at home, England will tour The Proteas Nation. The England tour of South Africa will start in November 2020 after the IPL 2020.

The Indian Premier League 2020 season is in progress in United Arab Emirates. England and South African players have participated in this cash-rich league tournament. So after this 2020 season, England will tour South Africa. This tour of England will also be the first amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The visitors, Team England will be landing in Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town for their quarantine period where they will also train for this series. England will tour South Africa for limited-overs where both the countries will play three-match series each in the 50 overs format and the shortest format.

The Englishmen are also scheduled to play an intra-squad warm-up match at Western Province Cricket Club before the start of the series in both formats.

Both the International captains Morgan and De Kock have given a positive response regarding this limited over series. The England skipper said that this revival of cricket across the world is essential for both the counties during these trying times.

This series will help give a positive response to the countries that are still in the lockdown mode, and there is a hope to boost the economic revival with a conformation for this series.

According to media statements and reports, Cricket South Africa is to set earn 3.2 Billion Pounds through this series.

The South African Captain Quinton De Kock is thrilled to play the T20 International series and the ODI series against the World Cup Champions of 2019. The dashing keeper-batsman spoke about the quality players from England.

De Kock expressed his excitement regarding this series, and also that he is concerned due to the pandemic situation prevalent across the globe.

At the same time, England’s skipper Eoin Morgan said that there might be a possibility of many star players from England withdrawing from this tour as he feels the bio bubble might affect the mental health of the players.

Many players from England like Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes, Tom Curran, Sam Curran, and Jos Buttler are currently busy playing the Dream 11 Indian Premier League season 2020, and it will be interesting to see if these players want to participate on the tour of South Africa or not.
