1# Bayern Munich vs. Atletico Madrid

The Champions started the UCL season with an amazing spark at the Allianz Stadium by defeating Atletico Madrid by a massive scoreline of 4-0. The match started with Lewandowski leading the attack and Kimmich starting into the midfield role. It was the first start for Suarez in the UCL playing for the Athletico side partnering with the youngster Felix. Bayern got ahead when Goretzka scored the 2nd goal of the game just before the half time whistle. Atletico were trying to convert opportunities into goals but were being denied at the end by the Bayern defense. The 2nd half began with a spectacular strike from Tolliso from a distance straight into the top right corner. This was probably the best goal of the game. Bayern converted more difficulties as Coman was once again on the list scoring the 4th and final goal of the match. The match ended with a 4-0 score with Bayern continuing their Champions League form.

2# Manchester City vs. Porto

Man City earned a comeback win by beating Porto to gain 3 points. Sterling was the man on duty to lead the City side. 3# Real Madrid vs. Shakhtar

Shakhtar earned an amazing victory against Real Madrid with a scoreline of 2-3. Shakhtar started the match providing an early goal coming from Tete at the 29th minute of the game. They got another lead as they were 2-0 up and it was given as an own goal coming from the boots of Varane. The Shakhtar team was already 2-0 up against one of the best teams in the world. There was no stopping for them as they hammered the 3rd goal just before the end of half time leading by 0-3.

Real Madrid had to make a comeback in the 2nd half. Modric made the breakthrough opening the score for Madrid by pulling an amazing shot from a distance straight into the top right corner. This was a delight to watch as even the goalkeeper was helpless and couldn’t save the ball. Real Madrid was trying to enter back into the game as Vinicius scored the 2nd goal for Madrid within seconds after arriving from the bench. This was one of the best earliest substitute finishes of UCL. Madrid failed to equalize the scoreline in the end and the match ended in favor of Shakhtar.
