Premier League: Ait-Nouri shines on debut as Wolves earn a win over Crystal Palace

Ait-Nouri scores a debut goal for the Wolves side taking them closer to victory as he earns a welcome to the Wolves side in style. Most of us are not familiar with the player as he didn’t appear in the Wolves T-shirt until now. The France U-21 left-back joined the club on a season-long loan with an option to buy from Ligue 1 club Angers this month and it just took him 18 minutes to score the opening goal by announcing his arrival.

Wolverhampton earned a great win and moved up at the 3rd place of the table. Wolves started the match with a new face Ait-Nouri in the squad along with Dendoncker back in the midfield. Palace made a change bringing Van Aanholt back in place of Mitchell.

Ait-Nouri- A debut to remember

Wolves earned an early breakthrough as Ait-Nouri scored his debut goal by firing the ball straight towards the bottom right corner. Wolves were leading by 1-0 at the early stages of the match in the hope to score more goals.

They got another goal incoming as Podence placed the ball through the nets making the scoreline 2-0 at the 27th minute. It was an excellent cross-field pass provided by Neto and Podence was present in the attacking position to place the ball towards the goal. The score remained 2-0 at half-time with Wolves leading at the halfway stage.

Palace unable to draw an impact in the 2nd half

The second half began with Palace bringing attacking options on the field as Eze and Ayew entered the ground in place of Schlupp and Townsend. Palace was trying to counter-attack and try for a goal in the 2nd half but they were denied by the Wolves defense. Wolverhampton were trying to pull an attack in the hope of more goals as Traore entered the field in place of Neto.

The match remained goalless in the 2nd half and the game ended with a 2-0 win in favor of Wolverhampton as they reached at the 3rd place of the table with that win and at the same time, Palace was down at the 9th place.
