Serie A Sunday Review – Gameweek 6

We experienced some exciting moments in Serie A with some best glimpses from Ibrahimovic’s bicycle kick to Ronaldo’s return. It was a night where Bologna earned a splashing victory over Cagliari and at the same time Roma earned a win over Florentina with Pedro present again on the scoreline. Juventus generated a new level of confidence with Ronaldo returning. It will be great to see Ronaldo reuniting with Morata into the attack as they used to partner with each other during their Real Madrid days. Fans were already too excited to see Ronaldo back on the field. The moment when he entered the field, the fans were full of joy and excitement as the legend was back after fighting Covid-19.

Let’s have a look at some great matches from Sunday night’s fixtures:

1# Spezia 1-4 Juventus

The match ended in a splendid 1-4 win for Juventus as Ronaldo created magic into the 2nd half by entering as a sub and scoring amazing 2 goals. It was great to watch the legend enter the field with the same level of form. Juventus started the attack with just a couple of changes as Buffon was back in the lineup with Morata leading the usual attacking with Dybala partnering him and Ronaldo present on the bench. Morata opened up the scoreline within just 14 minutes providing Juventus an early lead by 0-1. Pobega equalized the score for Spezia opening the goal for the team. The score at halftime remained 1-1 with goals scored by both the teams.

Ronaldo entered the field in place of Dybala in 2nd half and it took him just minutes to score a goal as he fired the 2nd goal of the game at the 59th minute. Rabiot scored the 3rd goal of the game and Juventus earned a bigger lead. Ronaldo did it again by scoring another goal in the 76th minute as he converted the penalty. And the game ended a big winner for Juventus.

2# Udinese 1-2 AC Milan

AC Milan continues the winning form earning yet another victory with Ibrahimovic present in the scoreline again. AC Milan started the game maintaining maximum possession and the same level of attacking move. Kessie opened the score for Milan within 18 minutes of starting with an assist provided by Ibrahimovic. Milan was in a lead with 0-1 at half time.De Paul equalized the score for Udinese by scoring a penalty and Milan had to score another one to earn a victory.

The moment to watch the amazing goal was here as Ibrahimovic scored an overhead bicycle kick to score the 2nd goal of the match and Milan earned the last moment victory. What a player he is, age is just a number for him as he plays in the same level of form giving chills to the young players.

3# Torino 3-4 Lazio

Lazio continues with the winning form in League matches as well as in the Champions League by earning a last-minute winner. 2 goals came in the last minute of the game one after the other as Lazio managed to seal the victory. It was such an exciting moment as they stole the show in the end minutes of the game. The new signing Pereira made an excellent debut by scoring a goal within 15 minutes making an amazing start for the club. Gleison equalized the score in the 19th minute making the score 1-1. Torino earned a lead as Belotti converted the penalty. The score at half-time remained 2-1 in favor of Torino.

The 2nd half began with Savic equalizing the score by firing a goal at the 48th minute. Lukic scored the 3rd goal as Torino was leading in the end minutes. It was a difficult moment for Lazio as not much time was left on the clock. Immobile converted a penalty and equalized the scoreline at the last minute. Caicedo scored another one gifting Lazio a perfect last-minute victory. An incredible game-changing moment was observed at the last minute of the game where Lazio stole the show.
