The big teams earned a place with a better margin and we got some exciting fixtures the next day.  Some amazing moments occurred in yesterday’s Champions League fixtures where Basaksehir earned a surprising win over Manchester United to win their 1st UCL game and at the same time Leipzig beat PSG and stays at the 2nd place of the table. UCL is all about the twists and turn. We are not aware when a game-changing moment may occur.

Let’s have a look at some of the best matches from Wednesday night’s fixtures:

1# Ferencvarosi TC 1-4 Juventus

Morata and Dybala help Juventus to keep the pressure on Barca as they reach the 2nd place of the table with a huge win against Ferencvarosi. Morata continues to shine on the scoreline scoring goals in every game. Morata opened up the scoreline for Juventus in the early stages of the game as Juventus were 0-1 up with the completion of half-time.

Morata scored another goal at the start of the second half with an amazing assist provided by Ronaldo. Dybala scored the 3rd goal of the game entering as a sub in place of Morata. Juventus earned a huge lead by 0-3. They got another goal added to the scoreline when Dvali scored an own goal. Ferencvarosi opened up the score as Boli scored at the 90th minute and the score at full-time remained 1-4.

2# Leipzig 2-1 PSG

Forsberg’s penalty goal provides Leipzig a win over PSG. Sarabia and Kean started the game for PSG in the absence of Neymar and Mbappe. Leipzig earned 2nd place at the points table as PSG faces another loss. Di Maria opened up the score within 6 minutes of the start. Di Maria got another chance to double the score after earning a penalty but the shot was denied by Gulacsi as made an incredible save.

Nkunku equalized the score just before the end of the first half and both the teams were leveled up at half-time. Forsberg scored an amazing penalty providing Leipzig a 2-1 lead. PSG had to equalize the scoreline anyhow and pull out a better attack. It became difficult for PSG to counterattack as 2 players received red cards in the 2nd half in the form of Gueye and Kimpembe and they were down to just 9 players. The match ended in favor of Leipzig as they earned a big win.

3# Basaksehir 2-1 Manchester United

This game turned out to be a shocker for United fans as Basaksehir beat Manchester United by a 2-1 score. United conceded both the goals due to the poor defensive performance. United failed to attack much as Basaksehir were better in the defensive area as well as counter-attacks.

United made a silly mistake at the early stages gifting a goal to Basaksehir as Ba scored the opener within 12 minutes by running with the ball with no players present in the United defense and Ba scored a simple goal. They scored another goal making a counter-attack as Visca scored the goal at the 40th minute. Martial scored the goal for United just before the end of the second-half providing at least some hopes to United. United failed to make any impact into the 2nd half and couldn’t score any goals even with the presence of players like Cavani, Pogba, and Greenwood on the field. They earned a shocking defeat losing their 1st game of UCL this season as Basaksehir earned their 1st ever UCL game.
