Diego was also the manager of the Argentina national side and was currently the coach of Argentine Primera Division side Gimnasia de La Plata.

His mesmerizing dribbles with the ball in an infinite number of matches were truly a joy to behold. He made the ball look like a magnet and danced his way into the opposition box with ease and grace. His performances in the 1986 quarterfinal against England and the subsequent final against West Germany were jaw-dropping. His performances for Napoli in the 1987 Domestic double for Napoli as well as in the UEFA cup against Juventus in 1988-89 were majestic.

According to multiple sources, the cause of death was a heart attack but it isn’t clear yet whether it was his brain or the heart-attack itself that caused Maradona to pass away. Regardless, his death means a huge loss to the footballing community.
