Welcome to our revived edition of the Premier League transfer rumours, which involves the big six clubs trying to lay their hands on some of the world’s top young talents to bolster their strength. Arsenal and their creative troubles are no news anymore, whilst Liverpool and Manchester United are desperate to strengthen their defensive resources.

Here’s what is being rumored across some of the Premier League clubs currently:

Starting with the defending champions, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool are considering Lille OSC’s Sven Botman. However, they haven’t opened talks yet and have some other options like Brighton’s Ben White and Schalke’s Ozan Kabak in their radar.

With injuries ruling out all of their top defenders, Liverpool aren’t really looking for a marquee signing. They want someone who can fill in a gap for the time being and be a decent backup choice once their premium options are back in the mix.

Slightly contrary to these reports, Liverpool Echo have pointed out that Klopp isn’t sure about the club bringing in any new names in the winter window.

“Emiliano Buendia is ‘one of the options’ into Arsenal list,” tweeted Romano. He also mentioned that the club is keen on shipping out some of the out-of-contention players like Mesut Ozil, Sead Kolasinac and Sokratis.

For Arsenal, one of the biggest concerns will be to fill in the creative gaps to feed more opportunities to their frontline. Buendia has done a fantastic job in the Championship, having scored 7 goals and 7 assists from the right-wing. He also creates a plethora of chances with his canny passing range, something Arteta desperately needs.

The BBC has also reported that they’re keeping tabs on Swiss keeper Seny Dieng, who currently plays for QPR.

Manchester United

According to The Sun, Manchester United are keen on clearing out plenty of names from the squad like Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard, Sergio Romero, Marcus Rojo and the likes of Brandon Williams and Dan James might be loaned out. Whilst James’ move now seems unlikely, Amad Diallo’s arrival is apparently going to bring his game time down is the new speculation.

However, the bigger news from the Old Trafford set up is that there might be a center-back coming into the side, according to Fabrizio Romano. The names connected with the club for the January window are Ozan Kabak, Jules Kounde and a few others, with Romano confirming Upamecano isn’t leaving Leipzig this month.

Moises Caicedo deal is said to have taken different turns, with Independiente asking for 10 Million Euros now along with a 20% sell on clause. Manchester United will take a final call as the season goes through.

Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane will be offered a contract renewal and it will be interesting to see how that pans out, with Manchester City keeping tabs on the English Golden Boot winner to replace Sergio Aguero. Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing Kane, having just acquired his former manager Maricio Pochettino, according to The Mirror.

A major French publication in Foot Mercato has mentioned Pochettino’s desire to bring Dele Alli to the Ligue 1 side. The English midfielder has remained surplus to Jose Mourinho’s current requirements with Lo Celso taking total control over the creative midfielder position.

Having acquired some big names in the summer window, Frank Lampard was bound to be under severe scrutiny if things didn’t go as per the high expectations. With Chelsea losing 3-1 to Manchester City on a hapless night at the Bridge, Lampard’s position has been under great threat, according to The Athletic.

Strasbourg defender Mohamed Simakan is said to have attracted Lampard and Chelsea scouts’ attention, according to Le10 Sport. The 20-year-old center-back is touted as a replacement for aging Thiago Silva, who currently is 36 years old.

Manchester City

Kevin de Bruyne is expected to sign another long-term contract with Manchester City and is apparently in negotiations with the club directly, not through any agents. The City stalwart is very important to Pep Guardiola’s future plans and is almost likely that we can listen to official news in the coming weeks.

Other Clubs

Demarai Gray has grabbed Ralph Hassenhuttl’s attention and Southampton are keen on signing the young English winger, according to the Sun. Leicester, on the other hand, are not sure if they should let Hamza Choudhary join Newcastle United on loan and will keep the Magpies waiting a little longer.

West Brom’s recently appointed manager Sam Allardyce said that Brexit has had a significant impact on his transfer rumours. Besides Arsenal, Aston Villa are keeping tabs on Buendia as well and are hoping to add more options to their creative force alongside Jack Grealish, Joh McGinn and El Ghazi.

Wolves could lay hands on an opportunity to sign Diego Costa, who has parted ways with Atletico Madrid. Wolves lost their number 9, Raul Jiminez, to a skull fracture and is not expected to get back any time soon.
