Dimitrov wrapped a major upset, beating Dominic Thiem

Grigor Dimitrov crated major upset by winning a match against third-seeded Dominic Thiem 6-4, 6-4, 6-0. Dimitrov has reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open for the fourth time.

The No. 18-seeded Russian has brilliantly fought back after down by 2 sets but keep the pressure on the opponent, on the other side Thiem saved five break points in the initial two service games but he failed to win break point of the set.


Australian duo Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have faced the same country pair faced Wesley Koolhof and Lukasz Kubot in men’s doubles.

Serena Williams has pulled off her 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 victory against 7th seeded Aryna Sabalenka With that Serena is heading into the Quarterfinal of the Australian Open.

The American has given tough fight for two hours and nine minutes against seventh-seeded, it was an absolutely high competitive match and worthy to watch.

During the first set, Serena has played counter-attacked and won the opening set, after which Sablenka has played a powerful set buy she fall out against Serena’s experience and strategy. In the next round, she will meet either world number two Simona Halep or French Open champion Iga Swiatek.
