Christian Eriksen now STABLE after medical examination

Christian Eriksen was involved in a very unfortunate incident in Copenhagen in Denmark’s league match in Euro 2020 match against Finland. He collapsed on the pitch while taking the ball from the throw-in. After prompt efforts by the players that surrounded him and the referee, urgent medical attention was given to deal with the Christian Eriksen situation.

He was given CPR on the pitch and the situation looked to be very critical for more than half an hour. The Danish and Finnish players were visibly distraught and looked in utter shock as well as in tears. UEFA then announced that the match between the two sides had been postponed due to the incident with Christian Eriksen.

As per the latest reports by multiple credible sources including UEFA, Danish FA, and Fabrizio Romano, Eriksen is in a stable condition and is now recovering. He has been transferred to the hospital and further evaluations will take place there. The further situation regarding the match and the other circumstances will be announced by the UEFA at 19:45 CET.
